Meet Dr. Gena Hendrickson

Also a native of Topeka, Kansas, “Dr. Gena” received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class and received a number of awards and scholarships for her excellence in academics, research, and leadership. Following graduation, Dr. Gena went on to earn her Master of Science in Oral Biology while completing the Graduate Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at UMKC. She loves practicing orthodontics with Dr. Scott and Dr. Don in her hometown.

In addition to practicing orthodontics full-time, Dr. Gena has published a number of scientific research articles. She is committed to continuing her education to provide our patients with the most current and advanced treatment available. She is a clinical instructor at the UMKC Graduate Orthodontics Department.

Dr. Gena is dedicated to serving her community and is involved with local charitable organizations, including a current board membership with Project Forward Topeka. She is married to Topeka native Jeremy, and together they have three children. Dr. Gena’s family loves spending time outdoors and attending KSU football games. They are proud to be raising their family in Topeka.
